Donation of 270 printed books of the “Emergency Response Guide 2024” to the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia In a time when knowledge, professional readiness, and cross-sector coordination form the key line of defense in all types of accidents and emergency situations, every publication that enhances operational practice becomes more than a book—it becomes a resource that protects lives. Guided by this mission, the Scientific-Professional Society for Disaster Risk Management – ProSafeNet – has carried out a significant donation: 270 printed copies of the publication “Accident Response Guide 2024” to the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia. This donation was made in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia and the Scientific-Professional Society for Disaster Risk Management (No. 01–3102/2024-9, dated 10 July 2022), as well as based on the official approval and authorization of the Ministry’s leadership. The publications were allocated to the following organizational units of the Ministry of Interior: • Police Training Administration – Logistics Department: 10 copies • Traffic Police Administration – Police Directorate: 60 copies • Fire and Rescue Units Administration – Sector for Emergency Management: 200 copies The total value of the donation amounts to 540,000.00 RSD. This act represents a direct contribution to strengthening the professional capacities of the national safety and security system, particularly the services that operate daily in complex and high-risk environments—from traffic accidents and technological incidents to the most demanding situations requiring swift, expert, and precise response. Through this initiative, ProSafeNet (https://prosafenet.com/ ) further reinforces its role as a national and international hub connecting professionals, institutions, and researchers in the fields of safety, security, risk, and emergency management—united in the common goal of enhancing professional practice and building societal resilience. We express our gratitude to the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia for its trust, cooperation, and shared commitment to developing a modern, professional, and efficient disaster risk management system.
