As the Guest Editor of this Special Issue (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/healthcare/special_issues/KYB7N8C8EL), I am pleased to invite you to contribute to Healthcare, an international, scientific, peer-reviewed, open-access journal covering healthcare systems, industry, technology, policy, and regulation. Strengthening healthcare systems’ capacity for preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery is essential in minimizing health impacts, reducing mortality, and safeguarding public health.
This Special Issue aims to explore innovative strategies, frameworks, and best practices that enhance healthcare resilience in disaster and public health risk management. We encourage submissions that provide new insights, policy recommendations, and technological advancements to improve emergency medical response and disaster preparedness in healthcare systems.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
– Strengthening healthcare system resilience in disaster risk management
– Strategies and frameworks for emergency medical response
– Integrating healthcare into multi-hazard early warning systems
